Denis Noonan

NOONAN (52 Pearse Street, Clonakilty, late of Islandbridge, Dublin and Gorey, Co. Wexford): On September 30th 2025, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital. DENIS beloved husband of Josephine, much loved father of John, Patrick, Laurie and Anthony. Lovingly remembered by his wife, family, brother Sean, Grace, Mehreen and Tina, grandchildren Ciaran, Liam, Lillia and Robin, niece Shauna, nephew Conor, extended family and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6pm to 7pm followed by Prayers . Requiem Mass on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Clonakilty. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Joseph’s Unit, Bantry General Hospital.

Rest In Peace

Denis’s Funeral Cortege will leave the Church of the Immaculate Conception after 12 noon Requiem Mass on Friday, proceeding via Edward Twomey Street, South Square, Connolly Street, Rossa Street, Pearse Street and onwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clonakilty.
