Denis O'Donovan

Denis (Corkie) O’Donovan (Tallaght and Courtmacsherry, Co Cork) – February 17th, 2026. Passed peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital after a long illness. Beloved husband of Monica O'Donovan (née Moore), cherished father of Denis & Deirdre, adored grandfather of Lauren, Chloe, Katie, Broghan, Jack, Maisy & Ava, devoted great-grandad to Charlie and much-loved brother of Michael, Geraldine, Liz, Declan, Paddy, Kathleen, Helen and the late Marian.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, son-in-law Alan and daughter-in-law Sonya, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends, especially those in the Thomas Davis family and the Monday Morning Club.

Denis will repose at his daughter's home on Thursday evening (Feb 19th) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Friday morning (Feb 20th) to St. Dominic's Church, Tallaght (D24 T262) arriving for 10am mass, followed thereafter to Newlands Cross Crematorium.
