Denis O'Grady

Denis died peacefully on 29th November 2025 in the care of the staff at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his grandparents Denis and Mary Daly, his parents Paddy and Nora, and siblings, Patrick, John and Joe, his grandson Huon, and his Aunts Peggy and Mary and his Uncle John.

Devoted and loving husband to his wife of 66 years Nuala, Beloved father to his 6 children Hugh, Denise (O’Sullivan), Kevin, Noel, Vivienne and Claire (McAuliffe). Wonderful grandfather to Sean, Jennifer, Denis, Eoghan, Vivienne, Stephanie, Caoimhe, Jack, Colm, Ben, Siofra, Rian and Síonn, and great grandfather to Ryan, Liam, Alistair and Cleo. Sadly missed by his brother Tom and sister Peg, and his sons in law, daughters in law, his cousins the Ruttles, and his many friends.

Reposing at Riedy’s Funeral Home Newcastle West on Sunday 30th of November from 5pm to 7pm.

Arriving at the Church of Immaculate Conception Newcastle West for 11.30am mass on Monday 1st of December with burial afterwards in Kilscannell Cemetery, Ardagh.
