On 6th April, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of Cork University Hospital, Denny, beloved husband of Dette (Russell), adored father of Aileen Kearns, Sarah McMahon, Bobby and Tommy, cherished granddad of Orlagh, Lauren, Joseph, Michelle, Denise, Noah, Hazel and Kevin, brother of the late Beatty.

Sadly missed by his devoted wife and family, sisters Mary O' Donoghue, Lily Keane and Tina Murphy, brothers Joe and Dick, sons-in-law Padraig and Michael, daughter-in-law Norma, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing in Grace's Funeral Home, Kanturk (P51 WDX8) on Wednesday from 6pm followed by Prayers at 8pm.

Reception into The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Kanturk on Thursday for Requiem Mass at 1pm which can be viewed live on the link below.

Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick's Cemetery, Kanturk . Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cork University Hospital which can be completed on the link below.

Denny carried the burden of his life changing accident with bravery and dignity. His family will be forever grateful to all of his care team, without whom he would not have had the comfort of enjoying the last seven years at home.
