Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Retreat Nursing Home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary. Deeply regretted by his sons Dennis and Daniel, daughter Catherine, daughter-in-law,  Denise, grandchildren, Emma, Rebecca, Shane and Donncha, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Strand Funeral Home, N37 E6K0, on Tuesday  from 6.30 to 8 o’clock. Mass of the resurrection on Wednesday at 10.30 o’clock in  St. Mary’s Church, Athlone, followed by burial in Newtowncashel Cemetery, Co. Longford
