Denise Byrne-Hamoui

BYRNE-HAMOUI, Denise (Saint-Mathieu-de-Tréviers, France & formerly of Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin), 14th January 2025 with her loving husband by her side. Predeceased by her beloved niece Charlotte. Denise will be forever missed by her loving and heartbroken family – her beloved husband Majd; parents Dominic and Phil; brothers Dominic, Damien, Martin and Noel; mother-in-law Nawal; sisters-in-law Rita, Joanna, Caroline, Rosarie, Suzanne, Maissam, Hélène; brothers-in-law Mazen and Housam; nieces and nephews Tara, Michael, Sophie, James, Eve, Ali, Eimear, Maella, Diarmuid, Janelle and Mary-Louise; aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives; her wonderful group of close friends; and her wider circle of friends from Ireland, France and around the world.

She will be reposing at home in her favourite room, facing her Pic Saint Loup.

The funeral service will be held at

Église Saint-Étienne, 34380 Viols-le-Fort on Saturday, 25th January 2025 at 10:30am.

No dress code; come as she was: full of life and colours.

Her cremation (family only) will be held at

Crematorium de Grammont, Avenue Albert Einstein, 34000 Montpellier on Monday, 27th January 2025 at 11am.

 

A Memorial Mass / Month's Mind for Denise will take place in Ireland at

Church of the Holy Family, Kill o' the Grange, A96 VX01 on

Saturday 15th February at 11:30am.

The Hamoui and Byrne families would like to acknowledge the kindness and care shown to Denise by all the wonderful medical teams who took care of her throughout her illness, and would like to express their appreciation to everyone for their support over the past few years and at this time.
