Denise Ryan (née O’Brien), late of Wolfe Tone Square South, Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, 24th March 2026, after an illness courageously borne, in the tender loving care of the ICU staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, with her loving family by her side.

Beloved daughter of the late Noel (“Tarzan”) and Ann Brien, predeceased by her dear sister Marie, her granddaughter Lucy and her father-in-law Dermot. Devoted wife of Roy and much-loved mother of Keith and Chad. Cherished grandmother of Kayleigh, Braxton and Gracie. Denise will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brothers Robert (Bob) and Kieran (“Tarzan Junior”), her sister Liz, daughter-in-law Mairead, mother-in-law Betty, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her home on Wednesday, 25th March, from 4.00pm to 7.00pm, and again on Thursday from 4.00pm to 7.00pm. Removal on Friday morning, 27th March, walking from her home at 10.10am (weather permitting) to the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Putland Road, Bray, arriving for 10.30am Funeral Mass, followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery.
