Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff in The Cherry Ward, University Hospital, Waterford on Saturday, 31st August 2024.

Pre-deceased by his parents Sheila and Patrick and his brothers Gay and Damien.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife Kay, daughters Karen and Anita and his son Derek Jnr, sons-in-law Keith and Noel, daughter-in-law Ciara, brothers Declan and Fay, sisters Loretta, Sunvia and Deirdre, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May Derek Rest in Peace.

Reposing at his residence, 39 Roselawn, Bolton Woods, Callan (Eircode R95 DP27), on Sunday, 1st September 2024, from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 8pm.

Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Callan, for Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
