Derek Maher

Maher, Derek (late of Kimmage) 6th January 2022, peacefully,surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Lucan Lodge Nursing Home. Beloved husband and best friend of Eileen, devoted dad to Michael, Paula, Eileen and Derek. Derek will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, children, grand children Leila, Karla, James, Emily, Adam, Isabelle and Johannah, great-grandchildren Aaron, Alannah and Farah, daughters-in law Jacinta and Catherine, sons-in-law Pat and Goran, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and Derek’s wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Derek’s life will take place on Thursday (12th) at 10am in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium.
