Derek Mahon

Mahon, Derek - October 2, 2025 (Late of Darndale) (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of St. Martin's Ward, Beaumont Hospital.

Predeceased by his Mam Patricia, Dad Michael, sister baby Phylis, sister Donna and brother David. Derek will be very sadly missed by his loving partner Jackie, son Leon, stepchildren Linda, David, Ian and Keith , his much loved grandchildren, sisters Theresa, Bernie and Carol, brothers Michael, Leo and Paul, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and all his work colleagues in the Clayton Hotel.

Reposing at Murphy Funeral Directors (D05 Y313) on Saturday, October 4th from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Monday, October 6th in St. Monica's Church, Edenmore arriving for 10am Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Cemetery (New Extension).

 

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of Beaumont Hospital for the wonderful care given to Derek.
