Derek Martin

Martin, Derek (late of Santry and formerly of Liverpool) – 6th September, 2025 (peacefully) at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Ethel and loving father of Michelle, Jennifer, Helen and the late Derek, and brother of Kevin and the late Maria. Very sadly missed by his family, his beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family in Ireland and Liverpool, and his many friends.

Derek’s family wish to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. James Hospital and St. Francis Hospice, for their exceptional care.

Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Ballygall Road West, on Wednesday (10th September) from 6pm to 8pm.

Requiem Mass on Saturday morning (13th September) at 10am in the Church of Our Lady of Victories, Ballymun Road, with Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.
