Derek McMahon

The death has occurred of Derek Mc Mahon, peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends in New York. Late of Maspeth, Queens - New York and formerly of Plunkett Avenue, Finglas West. Derek was predeceased by his Mam Sarah and his Parents - Brian and Julia. And also his nephew Gerard. Derek will sadly be missed by his loving brothers - Brian, Liam, Damien, Alan and Shaun. Missed dearly by his loving sisters - Eta, Celine, Therese, Marie, Lorraine, Julie, Pauline, Helen, Gail, Brenda, Emma and Tracey, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and his extended family and huge circle of friends in both Ireland and New York.

A service of remembrance and celebration of his life will be held for Derek at 10 am on Saturday, 5th October 2024, at Glasnevin Crematorium. Following the service, Derek’s ashes will be brought to Glasnevin Cemetery (ST. PAULS) where Derek’s ashes will be interred with his Mam Sarah.
