Unexpectedly after a brief illness at Cork University Hospital. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Fennessy) dear father of Louise, Claire, Paul, Alan and Brian and dear brother of Mary. Derek will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, daughters, sons, sister, grandchildren Conor, Ruairi, Saoirse, Tadhg, Ciara and Lily – Belle, daughter in law Erina, son in law Jack, niece Gail, nephew Ronan, sisters in law, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
