Derek Norton

NORTON, Derek (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 and Telecom Éireann). Passed away peacefully on August 23rd 2025, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Patricia and much loved dad of Siobhán, Vivienne and Pádraig. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Lily and his brother Anthony. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife and children, son-in-law Keith, daughter-in-law Ingrid, grandchildren Anthony, Romy, Rachel, Eva and Leon, brothers Richard, Don and Martin, sister Elizabeth, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours, and the staff at Glenashling Nursing Home.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home Celbridge on Thursday evening (August 28th) between 5 pm and 7 pm.

Removal on Friday afternoon (August 29th) to Newlands Cross Crematorium, for a celebration of Derek’s life, arriving at 1.30 pm.
