Dermot Buckley
The death has taken place of Dermot Buckley, Owentaraglen, River Valley, Mallow and formerly of Geraldville, Mallow, who passed away peacefully on December 24th 2023, surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of the Nurses and Staff of St. Catherine's Ward, Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork, beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen (nee Ferris), adoring father of Cathal, son of the late Paddy and Bridie and brother of the late Pat and son-in-law of the late Michael Ferris. Sadly missed by his loving wife, son, sisters Cathy (Ryan) and Marion (Kennan), mother-in-law Kathleen Ferris, aunt Agnes, brothers-in-law. sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Lying in repose at O'Connell's Funeral Home, St. James' Avenue, Mallow (P51 HH61) on Wednesday (December 27th) from 4.30pm to 6pm followed by Removal to St. Mary's Church, Mallow.
Requiem Mass on Thursday (December 28th) at 2pm which may be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/mallow.
Funeral afterwards to St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
