Dermot Collins

The death has occurred of Dermot Collins of Dunshaughlin Co. Meath and formerly of Ballymote, Sligo, Melbourne, Australia and of An Foras Talúntais. Peacefully, after a short illness in Blanchardstown Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Mary and sibling to the late Mgr. Fachtna, Micheál, Brendan and Mary.  Loving father of Maurice, John, Kieran, Michael and Fionnuala. Dermot will be sadly missed by his family, sisters Fidelma and Carmel, his cherished grandchildren Driéla, Ciara, Brian, Amy, Leo, Maria and Daniel, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral Mass will take place in Dunshaughlin Church at 11am Saturday, August 8th and will be followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
