The death has occurred of DERMOT (Derry) BLACKWELL, Melbourne, Australia and formerly Beaumont, Dublin, on the 12th of January 2023, unexpectedly at his residence.
Beloved Father of Colin, Katie, Maria and Victor.
Dermot will be deeply missed by his children, grandchildren; Oisin, Cormac, Rian, Acuisle, Conan, Aislinn and Fiachra, former wife Bernadette, daughter-in-law Naoko, son-in-law Johnny, Richie, brothers; Paul, Damien and Mark, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, beloved friends in Brisbane, Melbourne, Ireland, the US and the World over, also the extended Blackwell and Reid families, wonderful neighbours and all who came across his travelling path who knew and loved him.
May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
A memorial service will be held for Dermot at Le Pine Funeral Services, Lilydale, Melbourne, on Thursday, 19th January, at 10am Melbourne time (11pm Wednesday, 18th January Irish time) followed by cremation after.
A service and burial of his ashes will occur in Ireland for those who would like to attend at a later date this year. Details to follow later.
