It is with great sadness that the family of Dermot announce his passing from this life, unexpectedly in Sydney Australia. Loving son of Mary (nee Hannon) and David and treasured brother of Noel. Dermot will be sadly missed by his favourite niece Lexi and favourite nephew Scott, aunts, uncles, cousins, neighbours and his many friends here in Ireland. A special mention to Barry a friend for life and the many friends and work colleagues in Sydney Australia.

Reposing at his home in Beechwood Court Midleton Co Cork from 2pm to 5.30pm on Friday 20th December 2024.

Reception into The Church of The Most Holy Rosary Midleton Co Cork on Saturday 21st December 2024 for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Burial afterwards in Holy Rosary cemetery.

Dermot's parents Mary and David, his brother Noel would like to express heartfelt thanks for the care, kindness and support at this difficult time to The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, Joseph Medcalf Funerals Sidney, Australia, to all medical personal and work colleagues in Sidney Australia and to Barry his friend for life who travelled with him home to Midleton.
