Dermot Farrell

Farrell, Dermot (Leixlip, Co. Kildare, formerly of Finglas East, Dublin 11 and recently retired from Irish Prison Service) May 10th., 2025. Peacefully but suddenly, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the staff at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of Lorraine and much-loved father of Rachel and Sarah. Loved son of Mary and brother of Collette, Sean and Liam. Predeceased by his dad Brendan. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, mother, brothers, sister, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (May 15th) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning (May 16th) to the Church of St. Charles Borromeo, Leixlip arriving for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Confey Cemetery.
