It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dermot Farrelly, Shankill, Co Dublin and late of Dundrum, Co Dublin.

Peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and children in the tender care of the staff at St. Columcille's Hospital, Loughlinstown on Friday 12th September 2025.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Susan, children Declan, Cindy, Susie, Louise, Dermot and Rory, sister Rose, (predeceased by his brother Richard), grandchildren David, Luke, Jack, Ben, Alannah, Adam and Lara, sons in law and partners, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673) on Wednesday evening, 17th September, from 5pm to 7pm. Removal Thursday morning 18th September walking from Dermot’s home to Saint Anne’s Church, Shankill arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by interment in Kilternan Cemetery, Ballycorus Road, Kilternan.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Vision Ireland.
