Galvin, Ballineen and formerly Inchigeela, on December 14th, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Finbarr’s Hospital, Cork. DERMOT, Knockaneady, Ballineen. Beloved husband of Helen (née McSweeney) and loving father of John, Michael, Alan and Elaine. Deeply regretted by his family, daughters-in-law, Irene, Motoko and Belinda, grandchildren Ciara, Claire, Allen, Isabella, James, Cameron, Ava, Sophie, Saorla, Fiadh and Evlyn, brother-in-law Michael Murphy, sister-in-law Mary O’Regan, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his brother Timmy and sister Nancy Murphy

Reposing at O’Mahony’s Funeral Home, Enniskeane on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm followed by prayers at 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane, followed by burial after in the adjoining cemetery.
