The death has occurred of
Dermot J. Duffy
DUFFY, Dermot J. (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) 31st May 2025. Peacefully, with his family by his side in the kind and tender care of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia and loving father of Vivienne, Elizabeth, Sarah, Helen and the late baby Mary, brother to the late Irene (Board), John, Br. Oliver, devoted grandfather of Tony, Emily, Jonathan, Daniel and Philip and great-grandfather of Gemma. He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law Tony and Paul, granddaughter-in-law Maria and brother Ken, sister-in-law Eithne, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, friends and neighbours.

Dermot will be reposing on Friday 6th June from 5pm to 7pm in Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94XK28). Funeral Mass on Saturday 7th June at 10am in the Church of the Guardian Angels, Newtownpark Avenue followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
