Dermot Jones

On December 26, 2024, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff of Kanturk Community Hospital, Dermot, cherished husband of Margaret (née O'Sullivan} and father of the late Michael, formerly of Pound Hill and The Line, Meelin and founder member of Newmarket Pipe Band. Deeply mourned by his loving wife, family David, Dermy, Kenneth and Gayle (McGrath), grandchildren Colleen, Evan, Ashlyn, Ryan, Aidan, Jenna, Averie and Maeva, son-in-law Seamus, daughters-in-law Holly, Maura and Mary, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at O'Reilly's Funeral Home on Sunday from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St. Mary's Church. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon which will be live streamed on the Newmarket and Taur Parish Facebook page. Funeral afterwards to Clonfert Cemetery.
