Passed away peacefully on the 6th February 2026 in the tender presence of his family and the staff of Leopardstown Care Centre.

Beloved Father of Daughters Tracy & Debbie, Sons Karl & Luke, Daughter in law Gillian, Sons in law Kieran and predeceased John. Grandfather of Grace, Connor, Chloe & Olivia, Brothers, Sisters and his dear friend Rose.

Dermot’s family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all the staff of Leopardstown Care Centre for the wonderful care he received over the last 14 months.

 

Dermot will be reposing in McCrea's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Wicklow Town (A67E003) this Wednesday 11th February from 11.00am

with removal to McCrea's Cremation Chapel in the adjoining building at 12.30pm for a celebration of life service for all those who wish to attend.

For those unable to attend, the Service can be viewed by clicking on McCrea's Cremation Chapel (viewing at time of service only).
