Dermot Leavy, Newtown, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. Formerly Curragh Road, Kildare Town, Co. Kildare. Peacefully, 20th February 2026, at Naas Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Pre deceased by his loving daughter Róisín. Dermot will be sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Elaine, sons Callum and Dylan, parents Larry and Mary, parents in law Anthony and Mary, brothers Dessie, Paul and Simon, sister Loretto, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town on Wednesday (25th February) from 4pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors from his family home on Thursday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption and St. Patrick, Rathangan, for requiem mass at 11am, followed by cremation service at Newlands Cross Crematorium, at 1.30pm. Dermot's funeral mass and cremation service will be live streamed through the webstream links below.
