Dermot Martin McDermott

Formerly of The Mill, Foyran, Castletown - Finea, Co Westmeath. Dermot died peacefully in his home on January 24th 2025. Predeceased by his parents Joe and Kathleen. Dermot will be sadly missed by his family, brothers Willie, Sean, Joseph, brother-in-law Andrew, sisters-in-law Gail and Stephanie, auntie Mai, niece Emma and her husband Philip, grand-nephews and grand-nieces Suzie, Kathleen, Rebecca, Mikey and PJ, cousins, relatives, and his many dear friends especially his housemates in Auburn Village, Rosemary, Brid, Anthony and Cathal.

We hold you close within our hearts
And there you shall remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.

Reposing in Mullingar Hospital, Mortuary Chapel on Thursday 30th from 6 o'clock until 7.30 o'clock. Removal on Friday 31st to arrive to St. Mary's Church, Finea, N91 VW82 for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Following Mass Dermot will be laid to rest in the family plot in Finea Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to Mental Health Ireland c/o Connell Funeral Directors or any family member.
