Dermot McAleese

McALEESE, Dermot (Booterstown, Co. Dublin), passed away peacefully on Thursday 26th June. Fellow and Professor Emeritus of Trinity College, Dublin.

 

Beloved husband of Camilla and loving father of Emma and Susannah. Cherished grandfather of Simon and Donal Cahill, and of Hugo, James and Grace Farrell. Dear brother of Nuala Ladd and the late Brendan (died 1949). Deeply regretted by his sons in law, Shane Cahill and Aidan Farrell, and by his relatives and friends.

 

Requiescat in pace.

 

Reposing at his home in Booterstown on Friday 27th June from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue (A94 NW53), on Saturday 28th June at 10am, followed by a cremation service at the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium (D6W X296) at 1pm.
