The death has occurred of
Dermot McCarthy
McCARTHY (Cahermore, Rosscarbery): On February 15th 2026 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Bandon Community Hospital. DERMOT (Jeremiah) beloved son of the late Denis and Ellen, loving brother of Vera (Conroy, Bristol), Marie (Goulding, Aherla), Mary (McCarthy, Caheragh) and the late John, Philomena (Whelton) and Lily (O’Leary).
Sadly missed by his loving sisters, brothers in law John, Tim, John Joe and Sean, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Clonakilty on Tuesday, February 17th 2026 from 5.30pm to 7pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, February 18th 2026 at 2pm in Rosscarbery Parish Church. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to Rosscarbery Church Yard, Cemetery.
