Dermot McDermott

Dermot McDermott, Scrine, Rahara, Athleague, Co Roscommon, 12th January, 2026, suddenly but peacefully at his home. Predeceased by his parents Willie and Eileen and dear sister Eithne. Forever loved and sadly missed by his best friend and devoted wife Bertha, much loved children Aoife, William, Eamonn and Lauren, cherished grandchildren Diarmuid, Brandon, Ruairí, Éabha and Eithne, daughters-in-law Norma and Jennifer, son-in-law Mick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his many good friends.

May Dermot Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Hamrock's Funeral Home, Athleague (Eircode F42CC92) on Wednesday (14th January) from 5.30pm until 7.30pm. Removal from his home on Thursday (15th January) to Church of Mary Immaculate, Rahara, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial will take place afterwards in Rahara Cemetery. Donations if so desired to Croí.
