DERMOT McSWEENEY

McSweeney (Church Strand, Baltimore) On 15th of November, 2023 peacefully in the presence of his loving family at Skibbereen Community Hospital. DERMOT, beloved husband and best friend of Kathleen and much loved father of Derry, John, Ann (Kelly), Ciaran and Brian. Predeceased by his sisters Kathleen and Rita and his brothers Paddy and Mick. Adored grandfather to Diarmuid, Shane, Richard, David, Aoife, Rebecca and Nicholas and great grandfather to Cora. Sadly missed by his loving wife, family, daughters-in-law Gabrielle, Tara, Ruth and Ciara, son-in-law Tom, sister-in-law Una, nieces, nephew, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home (P81 A365) on Friday, 17th November, from 5pm to 8pm, followed by prayers. Requiem Mass in The Sacred Heart Church, Rath, Baltimore on Saturday 18th November at 12 noon, livestreamed via http://www.Skibbereenandrath.ie. Burial afterwards in Tullagh Cemetery, Baltimore.
