Dermot O'Connell
O’CONNELL (Glanmire and Ballyvourney, Co. Cork): On April 12th 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the tender loving care of the staff of 4C, Cork University Hospital, DERMOT, Hazelwood, Glanmire (late of Cork Probation Service and Glanmire Football Club), dearly loved husband of Nellie and much loved father of Maria, Patrick, Claire, Brendan and Bryan.
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sister Margaret, sons-in-law Mike, Colin and Lucas, daughters-in-law Colette and Rachel, grandchildren Nathan, Jessica, Sarah, Olivia, Aoife, Aoibhínn, Caoilainn, Cillian, Ronan and Zane, brother-in-law John Murphy, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood Glanmire on Monday (April 14th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Tuesday (April 15th) in St. Joseph’s Church, Springhill which will be live streamed
Funeral afterwards to St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Little Island.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the
