Dermot (Dub) Patrick Murphy (late of Terenure, Dublin) died in Hampstead, London on the 22nd December 2022 with his loving long time partner Barbara by his side. Dermot will be terribly missed by his son Conrad, Barbara, his siblings Máirín, Seán, Fergus and Vincent, his nieces and nephews, friends and the wider community who were touched by him and his Irish charm.

Dermot had a lifelong love for motorbikes so in lieu of flowers we would appreciate donations to the Motorcycle Action Group (MAG) which was an organisation he was involved with for many years and was close to his heart.

A service to honour Dermot’s life will take place at Rosslyn Hill Chapel, 3 Pilgrim’s Place, London NW3 1NG on Saturday, 4th February 2023, at 3pm. After the service, we’ll gather for tea, coffee and cakes in the Chapel until 5pm.

We will then make our way to The Old Bull & Bush, North End Way, NW3 7HE to continue sharing stories and memories of Dermot over drinks and a buffet. The Old Bull & Bush has a car park for those who are driving. Conrad is arranging an informal live music gathering from 9pm. This page will be updated once details are confirmed.

We would like to thank you for the outpouring of love and support over the last few weeks. It has been a great comfort during a very difficult time.
