Derry Dennehy

Derry Dennehy of Gallowsfield and formerly Strand Road, Tralee, Co. Kerry, died suddenly, on 12th May, 2025, beloved husband of Josephine and dearest father of Nelius, David, Sharon, Linda, Lorraine, Lisa, Vanessa, Derek, Louise & Jamie-Lynn, brother of Kathleen and the late Thomas, Michael, Liam, Maureen & Betty.

Sadly missed by his loving family, his 24 cherished grandchildren, his 4 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, sons-in-law Mike, Roscoe, Hassan, Mossen (in La Scala- Derry’s the Boss!), Paudie & Eric, brothers-in-law Tadgh & J.J., sisters-in-law Maureen & Alice, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Gleasure Funeral Home, Tralee on Thursday (15th May) from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral arriving to Our Lady & St. Brendan’s Church, on Friday morning at 10.30 a.m. where the Requiem Mass for Derry will be celebrated at

11 a.m. (streamed on www.stbrendansparishtralee.net). Interment afterwards in Rath Lawn Cemetery.
