Derval Barnes

Barnes, Derval – 23rd August 2025 – (Formerly of Rathfarnham and Dundrum). Unexpectedly but peacefully in the wonderful care of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her heartbroken family.

Derval will be forever loved and sadly missed by her fiancé Les Comiskey, her brothers Douglas and Lorcan and predeceased by her parents Katherine and Sean and her sister Lorraine. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces Grace, Helen and nephew Noel, extended family and many wonderful friends.

May Derval Rest in Peace.

Derval will repose in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, (D14 X348) on Tuesday 26th August 2025 from 5pm – 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be held in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown on Wednesday 27th at 10am, followed by cremation in Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross (The Garden Chapel).
