Des (Desmond) O'Donoghue

Des passed away, peacefully, in Milford Care Centre, on May 24th 2022  after a short illness, supported by his loving family. Des will be sadly missed by his wife Nora (nee Doody), his loving daughter Della, and sons Eugene, John and Kevin. Daughters-in-law Sophie, Emma and Joan. Beloved grandchildren Jack, Saoirse, Luke, Roisin, Fiadh and Noah. Des is survived by his sister Eileen and her partner Paddy, and is predeceased by his siblings Maura, Tom and Rita Cowper. He will be sadly missed by his brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Riedy's Funeral Home, Newcastle West, on Wednesday, 25th May, from 5.30 o'clock to 7 o'clock, arriving at The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Newcastle West, at 7.30 o'clock. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 26th May, at 11.30 o'clock with Cremation in Shannon at 3 o'clock.
