The death has occurred of
Des Ledwidge
Des Ledwidge, late of Dublin and formerly of Seapoint Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on Wednesday, 7th January 2026, in the excellent care of all the staff at Care Choice Malahide.
Son of the late Tommy and Evelyn Ledwidge and much loved brother of Harriett, Esther, Denise, Tom, Seay and Eamonn.
He will be missed and fondly remembered by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and all of his extended family and friends.
A Service to celebrate Des' life will take place on Wednesday (14th January) at 12.00 noon in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray. Cremation will take place on Thursday at 10.30am in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6W.
