Des Nangle

Nangle (Rose Lodge, Model Farm Road, Carrigrohane and formerly of Sligo) On February 23rd 2026, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Marymount University Hospital and hospice, Des, beloved husband of the late Eileen, loving father of Deirdre, Des, Ronan and Ray, adored grandfather of Patrick, Clare, Des, Chloe, Niamh, Oscar, Amy, Ronan, Rory, Conor and Aoife and great-grandfather of Finn and brother of the late Nuala. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Pat, daughters-in-law Donna, Diane and Lorraine, grandchildren, sisters Terry, Sheila, Angela, Deirdre, Mary and Mona, brothers Paddy and Tommy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and his many friends. A special mention to the Ryan family, Joan O’Brien and Donie Wallace

Rest in peace

Lying in repose at his home in (Rose Lodge, Model Farm Road) (Eircode T12KN6Y) on Wednesday (25th) from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 2pm Thursday (26th) in the Church of St Mary and St John, Ballincollig which can be viewed on https://www.churchservices.tv/stmjballincollig Funeral afterwards to St Oliver’s Cemetery.
