NEWMAN, Des (Swords and formerly of Mullingar) - December 30th, 2025, (peacefully) at Beaumont Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the late Peter and Lily and brother of the late Brendan, Vincent, Kevin, Frances and Eileen. Sadly missed by his loving wife Rita, son Philip, daughters Sheelagh and Pamela, daughter-in-law Ciara, son-in-law Marc, grandchildren Paul, Ellie and Olivia, sister Patricia, sister-in-law Breege, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Friday (Jan. 2nd) from 3.30 - 5 p.m. Removal on Saturday (Jan. 3rd) morning to St. Cronan’s Church, Brackenstown arriving for 10 a.m. Mass followed by funeral to Dardistown Cemetery.
