DES WATTS ‘Dunamase’, Rathcline Road, Lanesboro, Co Longford; died in his 87th year on the 16th of September 2024, at St Vincent’s Hospital, Dublin, following a valiant fight over the past number of weeks. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Molly, brother Patrick, sisters-in-law Olive, May, Eileen and Kathleen, brothers-in-law Frank and John and nephew Pat.

Des will be greatly missed by his loving wife Eileen, son's Derek and Daniel, daughter Marie, son in-law Miguel, daughter in-law Joanne, nieces, nephews, his beloved grandchildren Ben and Anna, extended family, neighbors and friends.

Reposing at Smyths Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Thursday from 4.00pm until 6.00pm followed by removal to St Mary’s Church, Lanesboro. Funeral Mass on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Clonbonny Cemetery.
