Desmond Condon

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Desmond Condon, Mayfield, Cork, who passed away on 27th January 2026, peacefully after an illness fought with courage and dignity surrounded by his loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospice. Desmond (Des) Late of Crosshaven. Cherished husband of Suzanne. (née O’Connor), Adored father of Callum, Liam, Amira and loving son of Deirdre. Predeceased by his father William and brother Jason. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Donna, Hilda, Jackie brother Val, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, Mayfield, Cork, on Thursday, the 29th of January, from 5-6pm, with prayers at 5:45pm. Requiem Mass on Friday 30th January, at 10:30am Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield, followed by cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy.
