Desmond Darby

The death has occurred of Desmond (Dessie) Darby, Moyleroe, Delvin, Co. Westmeath peacefully on the 27th March 2026, surrounded by his loving family and staff of St. Colmcille's Nursing Home, Kells.
Predeceased by his parents Peter and Frances, brother Eamon, sister Cáilín, and niece Ruth.

Loving husband and best friend of Teresa and dad to Eamon, Catherine, Desmond and Joan.
Dessie will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law George and Mel, daughters-in-law Jill and Karen, grandchildren Niall and Iona, Cathal and Shane, Drayden, Coah, Auryn and Jasmine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Dessie's Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Center Chapel, Killucan this Monday evening from 4pm followed by prayers at 6pm.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 11am in the Church of the Assumption, Delvin followed by burial in the local cemetery.
