Desmond (Des) DUFFY

Peacefully, on October 28th 2022, in the dedicated care of the staff of Gormanston Wood Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Evelyn, son-in-law Richie and sister Helena. He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife Anne, daughters Sandra, Allison and Christine, son Peter, son-in-law Michael, grandchildren Caoimhe, Rionagh, Saorlaith, Christopher, Líadan, Fiachra, Ruairí, Eoin and Dara, great-grandchildren Fianagh, Ava and Tierna, brothers Vincent and Terry, brother-in-law Eamonn, sisters-in-law Pauline and Miriam, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

At Rest

Reposing at his home (Eircode A91 K4W0) from 4pm-8pm on Saturday. Removal on Sunday at 12.15pm to the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52) for Service at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown.
