The death has occurred of
Desmond (Des) Hurley
Hurley (Eltins Wood, Kinsale) on December 14th 2023 tragically following an accident at sea. Desmond (Des), beloved son of Jimmy and Noreen, dear brother of Chris, Mark, Jemma and Vikki, partner of Larissa and uncle of the late Robbie.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brothers, sisters, partner, grandparents Christy and Eileen, uncles David, Jim and Liam, aunt Fiona, nephews Joey and Tadhg, nieces Millie and Olivia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, neighbours and his large circle of friends especially in the Fishing Community.
Des will be lying in repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Kinsale on Sunday from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.
Removal on Monday at 10.40am from Funeral Home to St. John the Baptist Church, Kinsale for Requiem Mass at 11am which will be livestreamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/kinsale, funeral afterwards to St. Eltin’s Cemetery via his home in Eltin's Wood, The Bridge and onto the Pier for a short ceremony.
