Desmond (Des) Mannion

Lower Shantalla Road, Galway and formerly of Bowling Green, Galway.

Desmond passed away peacefully at home on 11th November.

Pre-deceased by his beloved wife Patricia

Dearly loved father of Caroline, Sandy, Colette, Johnny, Joe, Des, and Ann.

Sadly, missed by his loving family, his 23 grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his sisters Joan and Rosaleen, his brother Jimmy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his residence in 4 Lower Shantalla Road, (H91 DAF3) on Wednesday 13th November from 4pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road, at 11am on Thursday 14th November. Funeral afterwards to Rahoon Cemetery where Desmond will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Patricia.
