Desmond (Des) McGovern

McGovern Desmond (Des) (Crumlin and formerly of Mourne Road, Drimnagh) October 30th 2022, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and friends at home. Predeceased by his sisters Ann, Dolores and Peggy and his brother Joe. Beloved husband and best friend to Terry, loving and devoted dad to Greg and Sean. Des will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family, wife, sons, daughters in law, grandchildren Ben, Joe, Blossom, Junior, Belle and David, brothers Tommy, Brian, Eugene, Pago and Paul, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephew, relatives, wide circle of friends, former work colleagues (Eastern Health Board) and neighbours.

Reposing at his home on Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm onwards. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 10am in Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Mourne Road followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery.
