Desmond (Des) Moriarty

Moriarty, Desmond (Des), 23rd December 2025, (St Aongus Yard, Tymon North and formerly of Maidstone, Kent) (peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and friends, in the wonderful care of the staff in CCU, at St James’s Hospital; beloved husband of Liz, much loved dad of Leanne, adored grandpa of Freddie and Archie and cherished son of Flo and the late Maurice. Des will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter, grandchildren, mother, sisters Maxine, Janice and Elaine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral home, The Square, Tallaght (opp Tallaght Stadium) on Monday (29th December) from 5pm to 7pm. A celebration of Des’s life will take place on Tuesday (30th December) at 2.30pm in The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium followed by Cremation.
