Murphy, Desmond (Des) – 2nd March 2026, (Beaumont and formerly of Cabra and The Irish Glass Bottle Company). (Peacefully), surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at Beaumont Hospital. Beloved husband of Geraldine and loving father of Brendan, Gerard, Louise, Gary, Dessie and Suzanne. Very sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, daughter-in-law and partners, grandchildren Kenneth, Harry, Kraig, Aaron, Patrick, Shawn and Ava, sisters Yvonne and Patricia, brother Noel, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

The family would like to say a special thank you the staff at Beaumont Hospital for their wonderful care and kindness shown to Des.

Reposing at Staffords Funeral Home, Maypark, Malahide Road, Donnycarney on Thursday afternoon 5th March from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday morning to the Church of Our Lady of Consolation, Donnycarney arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation in Dardistown Crematorium.
