Desmond (Des) Murphy

Murphy, Des (Desmond) – 30th of December 2025, (Palmerstown and formerly of Stillorgan), (Peacefully), at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved parents Wynn and Arthur. Des will be very sadly missed by his loving partner Ann, son’s Desmond and Brian and their partners, his adored grandchildren Sian, Nathan, Rhys, Ben, Toby and Amy, great granddaughter Eloise, sister Jean, brother Ken, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and everyone who was lucky enough to meet Des through his Ten Pin bowling and golfing career.

Des will be reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Ballyfermot on Saturday afternoon 3rd of January 2026 from 2pm to 4pm. A committal service and a celebration of Des’s life will take place on Monday the 5th at Stafford’s Funeral Home at 2pm
