Desmond (Des) O'CONNOR

O’CONNOR Desmond (Des); Born Cahir, Co. Tipperary and late of Killiney, Co. Dublin. Passed away peacefully at home with family on May 19th 2024. Beloved husband to Aideen and loving father to Aisling, Paul, Róisín, Andrew, David and Mark. Devoted grandfather (known as G Man) to Charlie, Robyn, Eva, Kate, Carmen, Sean, Stevie, Paige, Liam, Edena, Joe, Tyghe, Daniel, Manco, Isla and Jessie, dear brother to Maeve and Patricia and father-in-law to Gillian, Steve, Órfhlaith, Sinead and Beatriz. He will be dearly missed by family, relatives and friends.

Des will repose at Patrick O’Donovan & Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73, on Thursday (May 23rd) from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Friday (May 24th) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Killiney, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill, Co. Dublin.
