The death has occured of Desmond (Des) Oxley of Killavalley, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath. Des passed away peacefully on May 8th 2025. Pre-deceased by his parents Peggy and Richard. Des will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Christine, daughter Corina, sons Keith, Noel and Peter, grandchildren Cian, Fiachra, Lottie and Tessa, son-in-law Seán, daughter-in-law Chrissie, sisters Eithne (Eighan), Mairead (Kennedy), Carmel (Byrne), brothers Fintan, Aiden, Kevin and Colm, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lorcan O'Brien & Son Funeral Home, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath (N91 W422), Saturday 10th May from 3pm - 5pm, followed by removal to St. Stephen's Church, Tyrrellspass, Co. Westmeath (N91 PE00), arriving at 6pm. Funeral mass on Sunday Morning 11th May at 10am with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
